V1 covers Destination Alarms (ARRIVE), Smart Alarms/reminders, Tell Dhruva, and Family assistance (ASSIST). It does not include live Family tracking or Journey Safety.

Destination Alarm

Choose a destination, alert distance (from 100 m), travel mode, then activate. Allow notifications and “Allow all the time” location. Android Force Stop clears geofences until you open Dhruva again.

Smart Alarm / Reminders

Wake-up alarms, medicine or hydration reminders, and custom tasks. Time-critical wake alarms may need Android’s precise alarm setting. Reminders use notification-oriented delivery. Once scheduled, they stay on this device even if the assistant is offline.

Tell Dhruva

Type or speak what you need. Review the plan before activation. If the assistant is unavailable, create Destination Alarms and Smart Alarms manually.

Voice input

Tap the microphone, allow microphone access for that request, speak, then stop. Dhruva does not listen in the background. You can edit the transcription before it is interpreted.

Location permission / background location

Foreground location is used to search and to register a destination. Background location is requested only when you activate a Destination Alarm — not to create or join a Family.

Notifications and lock-screen alarm

When you reach the destination condition, Dhruva plays a local alarm and shows a high-priority notification. If full-screen alarm access is allowed, a full-screen screen can appear over the lock screen. Otherwise the heads-up / lock-screen notification remains the fallback. Snooze and Dismiss stay under your control. This is a local device event, not an FCM loop-back.

Family Space

Invite by email. The recipient must Accept or Decline. Consent for Family Destination Alarms stays off until they allow a specific member. Membership is not live location.

Family permissions

Allowing someone lets them choose a destination and alert distance for you. It does not allow live tracking or location history.

Account access

Email/password or Google. Forgot password is on the email screen.

Account deletion

Delete your Dhruva account with identity verification. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
